When Offered: On Demand Laboratory investigation and skills development aligned with the methods of PHY 3850. Basic detection involving GM, gas flow and scintillation detector systems, pulse height analysis, statistical tests and treatment of data, utilization of neutron activation and X-ray fluorescence will be featured. Laboratory three hours. Corequisite or prerequisite: PHY 3850. Field trips may be required.
