When Offered: Fall; Spring This course is a general introduction to information technology and the management of information systems in complex organizations such as health services organizations. The course will instruct students in basic hardware/software concepts, communication and networking concepts, and the important considerations in planning strategically for information technology in health service organizations. Prerequisite or co-requisite: HCM 2110 or permission of the instructor.
