When Offered: Spring This course analyzes oppositions and alternatives to contemporary globalization based on economic liberalism. We will evaluate alternative approaches to globalization in terms of theoretical debates on economics, claims about the negative effects of neoliberal globalization, and assertions that “another world” is not only possible, but necessary.
