FER 3000 - Viticulture: Vine Physiology and Vineyard Establishment (4) When Offered: Fall; Spring Viticulture will focus on the taxonomy, morphology, and cultivation installation and maintenance as well as vine physiology, pest and disease management, water relations and general quality/yield parameters. Discussions will highlight differences based on geographic locations and vine-climate interactions. Students will also gain hands-on experience with vine management and cultivation through visits and collaboration with local vineyards. Prerequisite: BIO 1801 .
