ENV 4105 - Analysis and Implications of Environmental Issues (1) When Offered: Fall; Spring GEN ED: Capstone Experience This capstone course emphasizes the critical thinking about environmental problems and solutions, grounded in a multi-disciplinary and systems approach. Students will analyze the causes and implications of environmental problems at the global, national and local level from an issue-based perspective. Students will learn to use the concept of Earth System Science as a framework to assess and act upon environmental problems. The scientific literacy skills gained in this course will be pivotal to the continued success of our graduates in their environmentally-related and/or academic careers. Students are required to disseminate project results via written reports, oral presentations, and/or poster sessions. This course serves as the senior capstone course for students enrolled in the Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science. Prerequisites: ENV 3105 , ENV majors only, and senior standing or permission of the instructor.
