When Offered: Fall; Spring GEN ED: (PHY 1103 and PHY 1104) Science Inquiry Perspective (Theme: “Physics of Our Technological World”) A study of the basic principles of physics including mechanics, thermodynamics, sound, electricity and magnetism, optics, and modern physics. Lecture three hours, laboratory two hours. Not open to students with credit for PHY 2010. Prerequisite for PHY 1104: PHY 1103 or the equivalent. Demonstrated Readiness for College-level Math.
