When Offered:Fall.Odd-numbered years A graduate course on historic preservation in which the class will explore different approaches to preservation. We will consider aspects of the history, philosophy, and practice of preservation in order to contribute to professional development. We will look in- depth at contemporary themes in preservation. These may include adaptive reuse, heritage tourism, cultural landscapes, and/or new directions in the field. Students will complete an appropriate project.
