TEC 5573 - Control System Technology (3)


When Offered: Spring
A detailed study of the architecture of modern programmable control systems. The course will include computation, machine representation of information, storage structures, buses, input/output interfacing, peripheral devices, and instruction codes. Theory to be reinforced by hands on experience. Some theory and practical experience in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) will be introduced.
