ANT 4460 - Landscape Archaeology (3)

Archaeologists are uniquely positioned to examine the relationships between people, places, and the past. This course explores the deep histories of economic, socio-political, and ritual landscapes, and introduces the tools that archaeologists use to study them. The landscape of the indigenous Americas provides focal case studies, while theoretical frameworks will draw upon worldwide archaeological literature.
Students who have previously received credit for ANT 4461  may not enroll in or receive credit for ANT 4460.
Corequisites: ANT 2215 , ANT 2230 , or permission of the instructor.

Prerequisites: ANT 2221 ANT 3600 , or permission of the instructor.
