Topics include the Jim Crow South, the roots of rock, Massive Resistance, the Baby Boom, Rockabilly, civil disobedience, Folk Rock, youth culture, the British Invasion, the Counterculture, anti-Vietnam War music, and the transitional music of the early 70s. The period covered is from the end of World War II to 1975.
