R M 3241 - Travel and Tourism (3) When Offered: Fall This course provides an in-depth study of tourism and recreational travel. Topics include the origin, present characteristics and various dimensions of travel and tourism; the importance of tourism to local and global economics; social, psychological and environmental implications; and international tour management. Prerequisite: R M 2130 or approval of the instructor.
