When Offered: Spring, Even-numbered years. A comprehensive course in the fundamentals of 18th-19th Century counterpoint. Lecture two hours. Prerequisite: a minimum grade of “C-” (1.7) in either MUS 2010 or MUS 2073. Writing and analysis is stressed and required.
