When Offered: Fall, Even-numbered years. An analytical survey of large instrumental ensemble music from the sixteenth century to the present. Lecture and demonstration two hours. Prerequisite: a minimum grade of “C-” (1.7) in either MUS 2010 or MUS 2073.
