SOC 3335 - Sociology of Immigration (3)

This course examines immigration with attention to the social, political, and historical contexts of immigration and the relationships between migrants and existing institutions and identities. This course will also outline the factors shaping immigration patterns and compare immigration policies across time and place. Finally, it examines the consequences of immigration and transnationalism on nation-states and diasporic communities.
