HCM 5590 - Performance Improvement and Operations Management (3)

When Offered: Fall
This course explores the concepts of performance improvement and operations management in US health care organizations. Students learn and demonstrate the leadership and operations management approaches and skills necessary to promote a culture of performance improvement and operations management in a health services organization. Techniques, tools, and processes currently used by organizations to monitor and improve the quality of clinical, operational, and administrative functions are addressed.
Prerequisite: HCM 5210  or permission of the instructor.
