LSA 5575 - Leadership for School Improvement (3)

When Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer
This course is designed to prepare prospective school executives with the knowledge and practical skills needed to lead improvement initiatives within the unique context of their schools. Prospective school executives will have the opportunity to gather, analyze, and use information about their schools in a process leading to improved outcomes for students. Prospective school executives will explore how a collaborative, continuous improvement process is important to meeting building-level goals, and how to create an action plan to address identified needs. Students will complete projects that solve problems specific to their school. These projects will count towards internship hours required for licensure.
