HCM 5270 - Organizational Development and Behavior in Health Care (3)
When Offered:Spring This course discusses and evaluates the theories, principles and concepts of organization development and design particularly related to behavior of health care organizations. The course focuses on the relationships and interdependencies of individuals, groups and teams, within the organization. Analysis of health care organizational structure and design in relation to performance are also covered in this course. The aim of the course is to enhance the skills, attributes and behaviors of managerial professionals working in the health services industry. Prerequisite: HCM 5210 or permission of the instructor.
