When Offered:Spring Information technology (IT) has become an essential component of any health care organization. Managers must understand the basics of organizational computing to effectively manage an organization. Computing in health care has recently received a lot of attention. Legislation regarding health care IT is constantly adapted. This course addresses health care legislation, IT governance, and an introduction to principles of systems life-cycles and project management. Prerequisite: Admission to the MHA program or permission of the instructor.
