Transfer students who took courses in this Corollary Studies Area at a community college should check with their advisor to see if additional courses taken that transferred into ASU as electives but not as ASU equivalent courses count in this SAC.

General Education Requirements (44 Hours)


For Elementary Education majors, three semester hours (3 hours) of courses identified with an asterisk (*) may be applied to satisfy General Education requirements. Non-EE majors may select up to 9 hours from General Education from those courses identified with an asterisk (*).

Diversity Studies Concentration Requirements (18 Hours)


Select courses from a minimum of two and a maximum of three different fields (prefixes).

Gender, Women’s and Sexuality Studies

#EE majors may select either GHY 1020  or HIS 1130  (but not both) to count as their 3 hours of General Education for this SAC
