Major Requirements (65 Hours)


2. 0 major GPA is required for graduation. Major GPA calculation will include all courses taken in the Government & Justice Studies discipline, plus any other courses under Major Requirements. Minimum of 18 semester hours of courses taken to fulfill major requirements must be courses offered by Appalachian.

You must complete at least one 3-hour course with a Writing in the Discipline [WID] designation within the Major Requirements. Courses with the [WID] designation are P S 3280  , P S 3320  , P S 3370  , P S 3550 P S 4230  , P S 4723  , & P S 4748  . [WID] All have PRE: R C 2001 .

The WID course can count in PS Electives under either the Public Management or TACCM track. (All [WID] courses have R C 2001  as a prereq.)
