Major Requirements (59 Hours)


2. 0 major GPA is required for graduation. Major GPA calculation will include all courses taken in the major discipline, plus any other courses under Major Requirements. Minimum of 18 semester hours of courses taken to fulfill major requirements must be courses offered by Appalachian. ** Students must have 90 hours of coursework to be eligible for internship PS 4900 .

You must complete at least one 3-hour course with a Writing in the Discipline [WID] designation within the Major Requirements. Courses with the [WID] designation are PS 3280 , PS 3320 , PS 3370 , PS 3550 , PS 3570 , PS 4230 , PS 4723 , & PS 4748 . [WID] All have PRE: RC 2001 .
