General Education Requirements (44 Hours)


General Education Requirements  

CHE 1101 -CHE 1110  and CHE 1102 -CHE 1120  or CHE 1051 -CHE 1053  and CHE 1052 -CHE 1054  fulfill the Science Inquiry. MAT 1020  fulfills the Quantitative Literacy requirement. PH 2000  will count in the General Education, Liberal Studies Experience.

Major Requirements (76 Hours)


Not including 15 semester hours already counted in General Education Requirements, above

Successful completion of VTN 1030  [with a minimum grade of “C” (2.0)] and VTN 1040  required for major declaration. 

2.0 cumulative GPA required for graduation. 2.5 major GPA is required for graduation. Major GPA calculation will include all courses taken in the major discipline plus any other courses under Major Requirements. Minimum of 18 semester hours of courses taken to fulfill major requirements must be courses offered by Appalachian. 

Veterinary Studies Focus Area (15 Hours)
