When Offered: Fall; Spring A research project under the supervision of a mathematics faculty mentor. Written updates of progress will be completed every five weeks. A formal, typeset technical report of the results is to be submitted to the faculty upon completion of the project. Students cannot receive credit for both MAT 4510 and MAT 4400. Prerequisite: one 4000- level mathematics course.
