When Offered: Fall; Spring An introduction to the materials and methods particular to the creative use of ceramic mold-making and casting. Students will develop critical and reflective thinking skills with regard to their studio production through research, writing, discussions and presentations. Focus will be on employing ceramic processes and firing methods relevant to content. Studio six hours. Prerequisites: ART 1001 and ART 1002, or ART 1020 or ART 1021.
