PLN 4450 - Planning for Sustainable Communities (3)
When Offered: Spring This course familiarizes students with the opportunities and challenges of sustainable development in the context of community experience and civic life in the U.S. Emphasis is placed on linking collective behaviors; the social, ecological, and economic impacts of those behaviors; and strategies for increasing sustainability at the community scale. [Dual-listed with PLN 5450.] Dual-listed courses require senior standing; juniors may enroll with permission of the department.
