P S 4370 - Political Psychology (3) When Offered: On Demand This course will explore a diverse set of topics, such as: how intergroup relations play out in politics; what impact emotion has in formulating (rational) policy preferences; and whether relatively stable characteristics such as authoritarianism and social dominance orientation alter how actors think and behave in the political world. The goal of the course is to encourage students to think critically about the material and to gain an appreciation for interdisciplinary research.
