ANT 3810 - Engaging Anthropology (3) When Offered: On Demand This course prepares anthropology majors for internship experiences or other similar kinds of practicums locally and/or abroad. To that end, this course covers theories, methods, and politics of anthropological engagement in and beyond the University. Students will explore the range of modalities of engagement discussed in current anthropological literature, such as “public,” “engaged,” “activist” and “collaborative” research. Students will create personalized portfolios relevant to their individual internship/praxis goals.
