E S 2031 - Human Anatomy and Physiology I (4) When Offered: Fall; Spring This course is the first of a two-semester sequence which provides a comprehensive study of the anatomy and physiology of the human body. Topics include the structure, function, and interrelationship of organ systems with an emphasis on the processes which maintain homeostasis. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the principles of anatomy and physiology and their interrelationships. Lecture three hours, laboratory two hours. Prerequisites: CHE 1101 and CHE 1110 ; or BIO 1201 ; or BIO 1801 . Corequisites or prerequisites: BIO 1202 ; or BIO 1802 ; or CHE 1102 and CHE 1120 .
