S W 2630 - Human Behavior and the Social Environment (3) When Offered: Fall; Spring The person-in-environment approach is applied to stages of the life cycle. Review and application of relevant social science and social work theories, concepts, and research is included. This course also provides the student with the opportunity to become skilled at assessing human functioning in varied social contexts and provides the bases for developing strategies for social work intervention. Prerequisites: BIO 1201 or its equivalent; PSY 1200 ; and SOC 1000 or SOC 1100 or S D 3375 ; or consent of the BSW Program Director.
