LIB 5045 - Strategic Administration of Public Library Resources and Services (3) When Offered: On Demand This course examines the history of public libraries, the changing role, services and mission of the modern public library, and its administrative functions. Funding and budgeting, personnel administration and supervision, facilities design, working with library boards of trustees, library organizational patterns, governance and legal structures, the State Library role, marketing and advocacy, and contemporary issues are among the many topics explored.
