NUR 5820 - Nursing Program Development and Evaluation (3) When Offered: Fall This course is designed to introduce the student to the ongoing process of development and evaluation of nursing curricula. The teaching, learning, and evaluation processes are examined from the standpoint of education and nursing research and the effect on various curriculum patterns with emphasis placed on the context-relevant curriculum. The course provides opportunities for examination of factors that influence curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation, as well as consideration of the integration of rural and global health concepts and use of technological strategies. Prerequisite: Admission to MSN program.
