BIO 1801 - Biological Concepts I (4) When Offered: Fall; Spring This course will investigate the history of science and the scientific method, the chemical basis of life, cell biology, bioenergetics, DNA structure and function, as well as general and molecular genetics. The course will cover the evolutionary basis of life and the application of evolutionary theories to the study of life. Lecture three hours, laboratory three hours. UNLESS NOTED, BIO 1801 IS THE MINIMUM PREREQUISITE FOR ALL BIO COURSES NUMBERED 2000 AND ABOVE. Corequisite: CHE 1101 .
