GWS 2421 - Sex, Gender, and Power (3) When Offered: Fall; Spring GEN ED: Integrative Learning Experience (Theme: “Intersections: Race, Class, and Gender”) This course provides an interdisciplinary introduction to the critical study of sex, gender, and power in historical and contemporary contexts. This course utilizes an intersectional approach that considers the interrelatedness of gender, race, sexuality, disability, class, and other axes of identity. In addition, this course serves as an introduction to the interdisciplinary field of Gender, Women’s and Sexuality Studies.
