When Offered: Spring This course provides an in-depth analysis of tourism development. The various forms of tourism development that are utilized to meet the needs of tourists and host communities are analyzed through case studies and class discussion. Topics covered in this class include: sustainable development, eco-tourism, community tourism development, and special interest tourism. Prerequisites: R M 2130 and R M 3241; or permission of the instructor.
