NUR 3302 - Fundamentals of Nursing Practice Lab/Clinical (3)
When Offered: Fall This course focuses on the practice of essential skills and critical therapeutic interventions for basic nursing care of individuals with common health problems across a variety of healthcare settings. Specific client situations and scenarios during simulation, lab and clinical experiences are used to emphasize strategic components of theory, critical thinking and problem-solving processes. Throughout the course critical therapeutic interventions necessary in the care of individuals with common health problems are addressed. Includes 126 clinical hours. Graded on an S/U basis. Prerequisites: NUR 3121 and NUR 3123. Corequisite: NUR 3300.
