BIO 3310 - Marine Sciences (4) When Offered: Fall A study of the diverse marine habitats throughout the world and the organisms found within these habitats. Various aspects of the ecological and molecular biology of marine organisms will be studied as well as foundational biological, chemical, and physical oceanographic concepts. The laboratory will examine selected marine organism specimens and will include experience with oceanographic data and collections, and experimental manipulations. The laboratory may include a field trip to the coast. Lecture three hours, laboratory three hours. Prerequisites:BIO 1802 for Biology majors, BIO 1801 or BIO 1802 for non-Biology majors.
