When Offered: Fall A study of classical problems in mechanics. Topics include motion in noninertial reference frames, particle systems and collisions, rigid bodies, and Lagrangian mechanics. Prerequisite: PHY 3001 with a grade of “C” (2.0) or higher. Corequisite: MAT 3130 or permission of the instructor.
