This course is designed to introduce teachers to effective strategies for meeting the needs of special populations in Career and Technical Education (CTE). Special attention is given to fundamental concepts and skills needed to address equity, inclusion, diversity and access in CTE. Topics of emphasis include: public policy supporting career and technical education, special populations in CTE, culturally responsive instruction and management, engaging key stakeholders, and differentiating instruction.
