When Offered:Fall, Spring Students conduct an independent practice-based research or scholarly project under the direction of a public health faculty member. The student writes a final paper reporting results and presents the results at a poster day session (3 hours). Students also have the option to prepare a manuscript for publication in a peer-reviewed journal under the direction of a public health faculty member, changing the number of credits from 3 to 6. Prerequisite: Completion of all academic coursework or permission of practicum coordinator. Graded on an S/U basis.
