The courses below may be chosen as electives when a substantial part of the course has an Africana component. The Dean’s Office in the College of Arts & Sciences must have a signed program of study to allow these courses to count.
Total Required (18 Hours)
A minimum of 9 hours must be “in residence,” i.e. courses taken through ASU (can include study abroad, ASU online courses, etc.).
