Required (8 hours)

• CHE 1101 - Introductory Chemistry I (3)
• CHE 1102 - Introductory Chemistry II (3)
• CHE 1110 - Introductory Chemistry Laboratory I (1)
• CHE 1120 - Introductory Chemistry Laboratory II (1)

Electives (12-14 Hours)

Choose 12-14 hours of CHE electives at or above the 2000 level from at least two areas of chemistry (Organic, Analytical, Physical, Inorganic, Forensic, Biochemistry). This must include laboratory experiences in at least two different areas. CHE 2525 - TA in Introductory Chemistry (1)  and CHE 3520 - Instructional Assistance (1)  cannot be used to fulfill minor elective requirements.

Lectures and labs are listed together if they are corequisites. If they are not, (L) indicates a lab.

Total Required (20-22 Hours)

CHE 2525  and CHE 3520  cannot be used to meet hours in the minor.

A minimum of 9 hours must be ‘in residence,” i.e. courses taken through ASU (can include study abroad, ASU online courses, etc.).
