Program of Study for the Master of Public Health
Admission Requirements: Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university; complete application to the Graduate School .
To be considered for admission, applicants must meet or exceed the criteria for admission to the Graduate School . Meeting this condition does not guarantee admission.
Additional Admission Requirements:
- Minimum of a “B” on required prerequisites
- Personal Statement/Essay
- Volunteer/work experience in a public health-related organization/agency or other service experience
Prerequisites: The program faculty reserves the right to request course syllabi to confirm course content in English/Writing and Statistics.
Location: Online with some in-person field work/practicum

Comprehensive Exam: As a substitute for the comprehensive exam, P_H 5900 (Field Practicum Experience) will require that students complete a final summary paper of their practicum experience and P_H 5950 (Practice-Based Research/Scholarly Practicum) will require students to write a final paper and present a poster on their final research/scholarly project.
