HPE 3020 - Sport First Aid (3)
HPE 3030 - Sport-Specific Coaching (3)

Elective Courses (3 hours)

Choose one of the following courses:

HPE 3040 - Principles of Fitness and Conditioning (3)
HPE 4002 - Psychological Aspects of Sport (3)
HPE 4650 - Drug Education and Prevention (3)

Notes:

1. Taking the required courses HPE 3010 , HPE 3020 , & HPE 3030 and passing the certification tests in each with a >80% results in students being listed in the National Coaches Registry, which allows future employers to verify students’ coaching credentials and certifications.

2. All courses are offered in a web-based format making the Sports Science and Coaching Certificate 100% online.
