Additional Notes:

  • Student should refer to the Major POS and the General Education POS for more information and prerequisites.
  • Official Common Core Tests (PRAXIS) scores must be in Banner before early registration window closes for fall and Spring semesters.
  • Second Academic Concentration (SAC) should be chosen as soon as possible to avoid sequencing problems (prerequisites, etc.) and ensure timely completion. Consult the University Bulletin for course prerequisites.
  • Up to nine (9) hours of SAC can be double-counted between General Education and major.
  • PSY 3010  is 3 sh requirement in Liberal Studies Experience (LSE).
  • Service-learning or Community Service experiences are required in Directed Elective, CI/SPE 3300 , and C_I 3110 .
  • ALL non-block coursework should be completed before 6th semester.
  • A student must have at least a 2.70 grade-point average to be admitted to the teacher education program and must maintain a 2.70 grade-point average overall through student teaching.
