A minimum of 9 hours must be ‘in residence,” i.e. courses taken through ASU (can include study abroad, App State online courses, etc.). A cumulative GPA of 2.0 is required for courses in the minor.

Note

• Students may double count no more than six (6) hours between the Rhetoric and Technical Writing minor and their major.
• Students seeking a BA degree in English with a concentration in Rhetoric and Technical Writing (233F) are not permitted to declare a Rhetoric and Technical Writing minor.
• No more than six hours of ENG 4900  may be applied to the Rhetoric and Technical Writing minor.
