Foundations of American Democracy Requirement (3 Hours)


Foundations of American Democracy Requirement  

Three (3) credits of Foundations of American Democracy (FAD) are required for degree completion. Courses that meet this requirement may also be used to meet other major, minor, or General Education requirements.

General Education Requirements (41 Hours)


Some general education requirements may be double-counted in the major with departmental approval. Please see your advisor for information.

Major Requirements (64-65 Hours)


2.0 major GPA is required for graduation. Major GPA calculation will include all courses taken in the major discipline, plus any other courses under Major Requirements. Minimum of 18 semester hours of courses taken to fulfill major requirements must be courses offered by Appalachian.

Internship Experience (12 Hours)


Students must complete 12 sh internship experience in Criminal Justice. Only students participating in the Appalachian Police Development Program (APDP) may choose Option B.
