Foundations of American Democracy Requirement (3 Hours)


Foundations of American Democracy Requirement  

Three (3) credits of Foundations of American Democracy (FAD) are required for degree completion. Courses that meet this requirement may also be used to meet other major, minor, or General Education requirements.

General Education Requirements (41 Hours)


Some general education requirements may be double-counted in the major with departmental approval. Please see your advisor for information.

Major Requirements (44-45 Hours)


2. 0 major GPA is required for graduation. Major GPA calculation will include all courses taken in the major discipline, plus any other courses under Major Requirements. Minimum of 18 semester hours of courses taken to fulfill major requirements must be courses offered by Appalachian.

You must complete at least one 3-hour course with a Writing in the Discipline [WID] designation within the Major Requirements. Courses with the [WID] designation are P_S 3280 , P_S 3320 , P_S 3370 P_S 3550 , P_S 3565 P_S 3570 P_S 4230 , P_S 4723 , & P_S 4748 . [WID] All have PRE: R_C 2001 .
