General Education Requirements (44 Hours)

COM 2105 , COM 3130  if taken for the major may count toward General Education: ILE; OR COM 3300  if taken for the major may count toward General Education LSE.

Major Requirements (42 Hours)

An overall 2.0 GPA is required in the major. 18 semester hours must be completed at Appalachian.

• Junior Writing in the Discipline (WID)
• Senior Capstone Experience (CAP) must be met

Minor Required (12-25 Hours)

• 9 hours of a minor must be completed at Appalachian

Free Electives (20-33 Hours)

To total a minimum of 122 hours for this major.

• 6 hours of free electives outside the major discipline are required
