Major Requirements (38 Hours)
2. 0 major GPA is required for graduation. Major GPA calculation will include all courses taken in the Government & Justice Studies department, plus any other courses under Major Requirements. No more than 46 semester hours of Political Science courses may be counted toward the BA Degree.
You must complete at least one 3-hour course with a Writing in the Discipline [WID] designation within the Major Requirements. Courses with the [WID] designation are P S 3001 , P S 3280 , P S 3320 , P S 3370 , P S 4230 , P S 4723 , & P S 4748 . [WID] All have PRE: R C 2001 .

- Minimum of 9 semester hours of courses taken to fulfill minor requirements must be courses offered by Appalachian.

- 2 semester hours of free electives must be outside the major discipline.
