When Offered: Spring Theory and practice of writing the spoken word. Study of speech composition and the role of speech-making in various professional settings. Special emphasis upon style, organization, support, and criticism of the public speech with a primary emphasis upon manuscript speaking. Prerequisite: COM 2101 or permission of the instructor.
